Christian Initiation of Adults
Classes for Adults preparing for Sacraments of Initiation in the Catholic Church are held on Sundays between September and May from 4:15pm to 5:45pm. These classes are intended for individuals desiring to enter the Catholic Church who either have not been baptized, or for baptized Christians who are seeking to enter into Full Communion with the Catholic Church. Baptized Catholics who are missing one or more of the Sacraments of Initiation are also welcome to make use of this class as preparation to receive sacraments.
The textbooks will be provided for you. It is hoped that the participants will engage in the instruction and discussion. Topics follow the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults, provided, and include topics like The Creed, The Sacraments, Christian Morality and Prayer. This program is scripturally based and will also include some historical background on Sacred Scripture.
